jailbreak made by geohot works i dont know if u should use it with the 3gs if u want to unlock it
but still wont jailbreak the new iphones bought this week
theres one for mac and one for pc link

The new 3gs made prior to week 41 of 2009 will work fine with blackrain/blacksnow

After week 41 production, the 3gs is just a tethered jailbreak/unlock, meaning you will need to rerun blackrain everytime you reboot your iphone.
